Angela has a double major in Spanish and French from Virginia Tech- Go Hokies! These languages have served her well as she taught different levels of each language a total of 42 years. They also helped as she led groups of young people on educational trips to Europe.
Angela and her husband of 56 years, Joe, are so proud of their three children. Her daughter Hunter teaches AP English on the OBX. Her son Charlie is a computer consultant at Southern States in Richmond. Gai, their Sudanese son, is a diplomat, currently stationed in Rwanda.

Featured Club Member of the Month: Marty Migliaccio! Marty was born and raised in Miami Florida. She is a proud second-generation native Miamian and started her 43 year long teaching career in Miami. Marty was also a varsity volleyball and softball coach, a Key Club sponsor, and a Middle School Dean of Students. Marty and her husband, Chris, have one daughter. Her daughter and her family are the reason Marty and Chris moved to Richmond in 2021. Since joining Kiwanis, Marty has volunteered at Feed More, Live Red, Start 1 Spark, and the YMCA. In addition to volunteering in the Richmond area, Marty enjoys water classes at the Tuckahoe YMCA, and going on outings and activities with her woman’s club, The New Virginians.
